Personal Biography[]
She previously worked as an assistant to Akira Amano, the well-known mangaka who created the manga series Katekyō Hitman Reborn!. On September 24, 2010, she married Kyosuke Usuta, a fellow Weekly Shonen Jump manga artist who created the manga series Pyu to Fuku! Jaguar.
Kenji Sakaki's real name and age have not been revealed, but she is assumed to be around 40 years old. Base on the wedding photos that were made public, they were assumed to be in their mid-twenties when they got married on September 24, 2010. She and her husband, Kyosuke Usuta, have two children, a son and a daughter.
Their children's birthdays are December 28, 2016 (son) and July 3, 2018 (daugther).[1][2][3]
- On December 28, 2016, she gave birth to her first child, a boy. She has been posting a parenting comic strip on her Twitter page on an irregular basis since April 2, 2017, documenting the pregnancy, birth, and upbringing of her first child.
- On July 3, 2018, she gave birth to her second child, a girl [4]. Due to her poor postpartum fertility and prolonged postpartum conditions such as irregular bleeding and joint pain, she began to consider moving to either Kumamoto Prefecture, where her husband's family lives, or Hokkaido, where her own family lives, as it would be difficult for her to return to housework and work while taking care of her two young children. Respecting her husband's opinion, she moved her family to Sapporo, Hokkaido in December 2018[5].
- Since May 27, 2022, she has been posting a manga essay on raising children in Hokkaido, "Kitaguni Ikkoi," on Twitter.[6]
