Haine Saikawa (
She is Enra's niece who, together with him, fell to Tokyo Underworld when she was a child. Unlike her uncle, Haine was able to escape, however she acquired a fear of the Tokyo Tower.
Etymology[]
- Haine's surname Saikawa means "dice/temple visit" (賽) (sai) and "river/stream" (河) (kawa).
Appearance[]
Haine is a person of average height.
She is a white-haired girl with red eyes, her skin is pale and her hair is long with fringes in the front.
Haine wears the Toyosu High uniform.
Personality[]
Haine is a quiet and calm girl, she is usually away from problems.
Background[]
When Haine was 11 years old, she used to live with her uncle Enra after her mother's death.
After a mission from Enra, Haine would enter Enra's car to accompany him causing Enra's anger, at which time an unknown person would shoot Enra causing the car to fall into the river.
Seeing that they had no choice, Enra asks Haine to shoot him so that they both die and go to Tokyo Underworld saving their lives, Haine would shoot him causing both of them to die and reaching Tokyo Underworld.
Arriving in Tokyo Underworld, Enra would ask Haine to go into hiding to prevent her from being killed. Enra would help her get to the Tokyo tower so she could escape.
Haine manages to escape leaving Enra in the Tokyo Underworld. Haine would follow his life and enter Toyosu High as a transfer student. After Yabuuchi's death, class 2-A would enter the Tokyo Underworld causing Haine to develop a feeling of terror as she remembered her old experience, after defeating Benkei, Haine would search for her uncle.
Relationships[]
- Enra Mizoregi: After the death of her mother, Haine would begin to live with her uncle from the age of 11. At first they both kept their distance because Enra had never seen him until then. As time went by, Enra would begin to appreciate her. After Enra and Haine fell into Tokyo Underworld, Haine would be cared for by Enra until he found a way to escape from her. Haine managed to escape from her thanks to Enra's sacrifice and from then on she proposed to return to Tokyo Underworld for her uncle.
- Akito Hirasaka: Haine knows Akito as one of Enra's subordinates, Haine respects Akito and appreciates him.
- Yomi Kanda: Yomi is Haine's classmate with whom she did not usually interact at first, however after the entire class fell into Tokyo Underworld, Haine began to get closer to Yomi and Yami since she was the only one who knew what was happening. Over time Yomi and Haine have developed a great friendship. Throughout the story there have been hints that she is in love with Yomi.
- Yami Kanda: As with Yomi, Haine kept her distance from Yami, when they both fell to Tokyo Underworld, Haine began to get closer to Yami and they developed a great friendship.
